Why we fight
Alita: Battle Angel” is a movie released in 2019 to theaters all around the world. It is based on a Manga by Yukito Kishiro and therefore has an awesome pre-written story. The 2019 movie is set to be the first in a Trilogy, and thus obviously has an ending that leaves the viewer wanting for more. Now, unfortunately due to the movie being released right before the acquisition of 20th Century Fox by Disney and multiple other factors, Alita saw only OK numbers in the US with pretty good ones overseas. Add to the that James Cameron (here the producer) started to become occupied with Avatar 2-6, as of now there is no sequel green lit over 4 years later. This led to a group of fans forming online, fighting for a sequel. If it ever comes to the sequel the 2019 masterpiece deserves, it’ll be no doubt accountable in large amounts to these very fans, I count myself one of. Whatever happens, I can’t help but be thankful for everyone that helped/helps
